Nail Trim

Keep your pup's nails neat and tidy.

Kind words from our adorable customers

The "paw"-dicure.

Regular nail maintenance is about more than just aesthetics; it prevents joint strain, protects your dog’s posture, and ensures every step they take is pain-free. Our nail services are designed for dogs who may be "paw-sensitive," providing a calm, cage-free environment where we prioritize their comfort over speed.

WALK-IN NAIL TRIMS ARE AVAILABLE ON WEDNESDAYS, THURSDAYS, & FRIDAYS FROM 12PM - 3PM.

No nail appointments are available on Saturdays.

The Nail Trim Includes:

  • A Safe Trim or Dremel: Depending on your dog’s comfort level, we use high-quality trimmers or a gentle dremel tool to bring nails to a healthy length.

  • Expert Handling: We use specialized "patience-first" techniques to keep your dog relaxed, making the experience positive even for dogs who are nervous about their paws being touched.

  • Pad Inspection: A quick check of the paw pads for any debris, dryness, or irritation to ensure total paw health.

  • Smoothed Edges: We aim for a smooth finish to prevent snagging on carpets or accidental scratches during snuggle time.

FAQs

Do I need an appointment for a nail trim?

No. We offer walk-in nail trims on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12PM - 3PM. If you have a specific time in mind, feel free to give us a call to book a specific time. We do not offer nail appointments on Saturdays.

How often should my dog's nails be trimmed?

Most dogs benefit from a trim every 3–4 weeks. Keeping a regular schedule helps the "quick" (the blood vessel inside the nail) recede, allowing us to achieve a shorter, healthier length over time.

My dog is very scared of having their paws touched. Can you help?

Absolutely. We specialize in "struggling" dogs. We never force a trim; instead, we use love, patience, and safe-handling methods to turn a scary chore into a routine your dog can handle with confidence.

What determines the price of a nail trim?

Pricing is based on the size of your dog and whether they require a standard trim or a dremel (filing) service. We also offer preferred pricing for our regular clients who stay on a consistent maintenance schedule.

Can you come to my house just for a nail trim?

No, our mobile units only offer a Full Groom or Mini Groom service.

How long does a nail trim take?

A typical nail trim takes about 15 to 30 minutes. We move at your dog's speed, if they need a few "paws-es" to feel safe and relaxed, we take them.
